Off of consolegaming.eu:
So far, each level of this game is 2 gigabytes in size. That's roughly equivalent to half a DVD's storage capacity. Due to this, it seems obvious as to why it's on Blu-ray, although it may also be accountable for the current slow down at the development checkpoints.
Due to the game's sheer impressive detail and effects, that are produced by the Cell and RSX, the game will run at 30fps, and will 'only' run in 720p.
It may also be worth noting that the detail is so high in this game, that the amount of polygons used in one soldiers face is roughly the amount used in one entire level of Killzone 1.
Now everyone is hoping that the framerate doesn't cause any issues like those seen Madden '08, hopefully everything should be fine.
So far, the general reception of the game has been good, with many people being impressed by the graphical features and effects of this stunning game
f**k ME ... NOW THATS BIG!!!...iv worked with polygons in graphics and that is amazing, this detail is gonna be soooo fine!
